Subject:Class Rule Interpretation
Please inform your IOM members of the recent rule interpretation that was issued regarding the various methods that can be used to provide topping lift restraint.
Further, this is issued with immediate effect and could affect some of your skipper’s boats that will be used at the upcoming 2014 Euro Championship. And, perhaps other major regattas that you may be holding.
The result of the interpretation is quite clear but if any further clarification is required please contact the Technical Sub Committee directly.
