Easter Sunday and we awoke to a light shower and a stiff breeze as per the forecast
10am out at the Lake the 1st B rig race got underway with everyone Racing A’s at there Top end of the range on the North Bank. It was not quite nose diving but very close. Next the A Fleet and again Rob showed us how to do it.
After a few races we stopped for lunch. A very heavy rain shower came through increasing the wind. After lunch we attempted a B race but the wind then swung to the North and the race was blown.
A quick rig change to B rig and then the race was rerun on the East Bank. The rain cleared and after a few races on B the wind dropped back and we had a couple more races on A.
It was a great afternoon session. 5.5hours racing today. Everyone look shattered and tired.
After sailing the local clubs put on a great BBQ dinner and heaps of spot prizes from sponsor Evolution were drawn out.
Then home to charge batteries and sleep.
